As mentioned earlier, the archives include a series of tape reels documenting the concerts of the Composers' Forum, from 1951 through the mid-1970s.
This fall, about 165 hours of material from the tapes of the Composers' Forum recordings have been selected for initial preservation and digitization. The material will go out to an outside vendor for this work, and when it returns, cataloging of the material will be completed, and it will then be listed in the online catalog of the the Columbia University Libraries (CLIO). More details on access will follow, when this work is completed... we're hoping for spring 2011.
